Won Summary Judgment for Out-of-Possession Landlord (Kings County)
Achieved summary judgment in favor of an out-of-possession landlord. The case involved a plaintiff who slipped and fell due to water penetration from an improperly maintained roof and ceiling. We successfully argued that the tenant-employer, not our client, was responsible for maintaining the premises as per terms of net lease agreement.
Prevailed in Construction Site Defense Case (New York County)
Obtained summary judgment in a case where the plaintiff sustained injuries while moving curtainwall into a building. Our client, responsible for transporting the curtainwall to the construction site, was absolved of liability.
Successfully Defended Snow Removal Contractor (Queens County)
Secured summary judgment based on Espinal arguments in a slip-and-fall case following a snowstorm. The plaintiff alleged hazardous conditions on the property, but the court agreed that the snow removal contractor owed no duty to the plaintiff.
