Michel Law can send text messages regarding appointments, court dates, billing, and case updates to clients who choose to opt in. Providing your number and consenting to text messaging is entirely optional and is not a condition of retaining the firm or receiving any legal service.
Clients who do not opt in are served by phone, email, and mail. There is no service difference. This consent can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP to any message.
Message content. If you opt in, Michel Law may send you text messages for appointment reminders, court date confirmations, billing notices, document requests, and updates concerning your matter. Messages are sent by staff of the firm or through the firm's secure messaging platform.
Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on the status of your matter. During active litigation or a closing, messages may be more frequent. During dormant periods, messages are infrequent.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply as charged by your mobile carrier. Michel Law does not charge for messages sent to you.
Opting out. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message received from the firm. You may reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact the firm directly at (516) 440-3440 or info@michel-law.com to withdraw consent.
Confidentiality. Michel Law does not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or opt-in consent with third parties for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes. Your mobile number is used solely to communicate with you regarding your matter and the firm's services to you.
